Oct. 10 San Francisco/ Bay Area. Kapuaokalani is working with Lokahi Center, a brand new organization that teaches Hawaiian culture and values, hula, Ho'oponopono, and other cultural practices. Mario, Kainani, Kumu Karen, and others are really excited to be able to offer an array of cultural teaching and to network with our Ohana in the Bay Area. Because we are brand new, we need to gather our resources to furnish and get our "new baby" up and going. What better event than a "Baby Shower!" On Oct.10 we will gather at the Halau in Belmont, to have an evening of music, food, and FUN! Kainani has a wish list, and we are even registered with Target Stores, how great is that! In the future, you will be meeting some of your Ohana in the Bay Area when they come to Hawaii on Sacred Tours and for Cultural exchanges. I have known many of our Lokahi Ohana for years, and extend the Rainbow bridge to include them as a part of our Kapuaokalani Ohana. Welcome!

Nov. 1 Palm Springs, CA. "Ho'omana'o 2008". Our Ohana, Halau Hula O Wailehua in Palm Desert is presenting a hula performance and the music of the Makaha Sons, at The Wyndham Palm Springs Hotel, 888 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs.Tickets are $35 pre-sale, and $40 at the door. It will be the first big Hawaiian concert performance in the Palm Springs/Valley area and we are excited about it! You can call Kumu Karen to purchase tickets: (808) 228-3813. Kumu Hula Kekoa Yap has been so wonderful in allowing Kapuaokalani a place to teach in conjunction with his Halau at the Joslyn Senior Center. The halau there in Palm Desert have been so welcoming! As our Halau expands please let us know how we can be of service to you, and how Kapuaokalani can grow to serve others. As you know, the Kahu of Kapuaokalani do blessings and Ho'oponopono for individuals, homes, businesses, hotels, hospitals, special events, etc. Let us know if you know of anyone who needs our services. Spiritual warfare is real, cover with the Light daily, pray for others, live pono.
