My cousin cooked the food for a filmed in Hawaii backyard luau for Bizzare Foods on the Travel Channel. I did get to give him a brief Lomilomi massage since he had opu huli, but my brief moment of fame may be when "Aunty Karen" taught him the hula. I don't know the time, or even if I'm in it for that matter, but it should be interesting (or hilarius at least).
Megan has made a few changes to the website which now includes a brief interview with KMIR TV in Palm Springs which my Alaka'i/Kahu Brian Vatcher got for me. Thank you for the pictures some of you sent. Check out the new story under "Blessings". There are a few new pictures too.
The 31st of Oct. I will be helping out Hula Halau Wailehua in Palm Desert who will be putting on their first ever concert in this desert city. This is my Hawaii connection in the desert with many wonderful local families. The concert features the Makaha Sons and Hula Halau Wailehua who will performing. I'll be doing the Lomilomi for the Makaha Sons and then for the dancers to kokua.
We would love to hear from you, please drop us a line to let us know how you are and what you've been up to.
Love,
Kumu
